Being that November is National Gratitude Month, I decided it would be fun to give you 100 things to be grateful for to get you started on your gratitude practice. I encourage you to find gratitude in not only the unexpected but the mundane things too!
The month of November holds a special place in my heart and it’s not just because it’s my birthday month. It tends to be a month full of introspection and transformation. The leaves are changing into beautiful colors as the peak of autumn takes place. Further, the month ends with the holiday of giving thanks. This all happens a couple weeks before the year ends. I love that we get to reflect and give gratitude for everything.
This month, I challenge you to start a gratitude journal and list at least 3 things you are grateful for every day. If journaling isn’t your thing, you can do this on your computer or even on a note in your phone. At first it might feel difficult because it involves practice. You are programming your mind to focus on the positive, on things you currently have that are a gift! Once you continue this practice, you’ll find that it gets easier and that there are endless things to be grateful for.
